BIZCareers office has been working closely with the major accounting firms to source for suitable internship opportunities for our accountancy students. Publicity for these internship opportunities will be done via regular email announcements and posts on the TalentConnect portal for application. Students will have to apply and submit their resume and other required documents if they are keen to pursue the positions that are publicised.

After securing an internship, students are required to update or submit their internship details on TalentConnect portal at least one month before the commencement of their internship.

For credit-bearing internships, students are required to seek approval on TalentConnect portal. Students are required to complete two journals and one final report. They are to be submitted on TalentConnect portal based on the internship weeks as stipulated. A student evaluation online form will be emailed to the workplace supervisor towards the end of the stipulated internship period. The journals, report and completed student evaluation form will be reviewed by the school to determine if students have fulfilled the internship requirement.

BBA (Acc) students must complete a minimum 8-week accounting related (or finance-related) internship as part of the academic requirement, prior to graduation.

The compulsory internship will be scheduled in the summer break during May to July. It is expected that most students would do the internship in summer at the end of Year 2.
