Application Details
The BBA Student Exchange Programme (SEP) aligns itself to the Business School’s mission – nurturing well-rounded students who display the qualities of being Caring, Rigorous-thinking and Influential Leaders. With effect from the SEP Application for Academic Year 2026/2027, an enhanced grading system will be implemented.
The enhanced system promotes a transparent and meritocratic system for SEP place allocation, recognising students who integrate their academic pursuits with their personal passions and social responsibilities. By emphasising the importance of building strong networks both within and beyond the university and cultivating a diverse skill set, the system encourages students to develop workforce agility through a holistic approach.
The composite score remains as follows:
- Grade Average Point (GPA) = 60%
- Co-curricular Parameters = 40%
Applicants have the option of indicating their preferred universities and destinations and the final allocation of exchange university will be based on the holistic assessment of each applicant using the above parameters.
For the full details on the grading system as well as copies of supporting document templates to be submitted, please access the following hyperlinks:

Selection of Exchange Students
Selection of students for the exchange programme is conducted biannually. Students can now apply for SEP in the October/November application period for semester 1 or 2 of the following academic year, or in the May/June application period for semester 2 of the following academic year. The SEP semester must not take place during student’s final semester.
Please read the instructions carefully before proceeding to apply for SEP.
If you are a scholarship holder, please submit the letter of approval form for the awarding organisation. This should be submitted to the Undergraduate Studies Office.
USP students on overseas exchange may substitute up to one First-Tier module and one Advanced Curriculum module with USP’s approval. Please consult this link for details.
Please note that the NUS Global supports students by organising Language Preparation Programmes (LPP) for certain languages. The LPP enhances the student experience due to the knowledge of the language. However, participation in a LPP is not a SEP application requirement, and does not guarantee a placement in the SEP.
Students in BBA(ACC)/Accountancy Major need to be mindful of certain restrictions. Double Degree Programme students have their own particular concern.
